Each provider is in private practice and is credentialed with the health plans individually. Call your insurance plan to see if the provider is on your plan.

Why am I getting bills from my provider?

You sign a financial agreement with your provider prior to services beginning. Part of this agreement may include the client/patient being responsible for whatever portions that are not covered by your insurance plan.

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill - but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

This is outlined on the Explnation of Benefits document that the insurance company mails to you after the provider files the claim. For further explaination, please call your insurance company.
